YouTube Mini-Review
YouTube is a wonderful place on the internet that is full of information, entertainment, and much more. Almost everybody has heard of YouTube, and according to their Statistics Page, there are "More than 1 billion unique users every month". It should also be noted that more than 6 billion hours of YouTube videos are watched per month, as well. This website certainly has an unimaginably high reputation among many internet-users.
User Interface
YouTube's two most favorite colors in the world happen to be two that are moderately appealing to me: White and Red. I mention that they are moderately appealing because of the fact that the bleach-white background of the website hurts my eyes after a while, and is somewhat unoriginal. Most sites like Facebook, and this one use a white background with black text. I understand fully that it is the norm to use Black-on-White, but when sites use a darker color for their background such as Speedtest.net, that's when the site begins to appeal to me so much more.
I can't really draw any final conclusions from the very minuscule details I derived from YouTube.com, but I can write a very brief summary from it. I personally spend at least 4-10 hours a week on YouTube, more than I spend watching TV, and that says something about the site. Its popularity has drawn in talented users to contribute their knowledge, entertaining clips, and more just for users like us. The simplistic user interface keeps everyone, even users who do not use technology as much, coming back. If I had to give it a rating, it'd be an 8/10 for the site.
